The 2024 Ford F-150 Lightning offers dual electric motors and all-wheel drive with either the Standard Range Battery or available Extended Range Battery. With the smaller 98.0-kWh Standard Range Battery, the Ford F-150 Lightning’s motors combine to make 452 horsepower for up to 76 MPGe city and 61 MPGe highway—and as a result, Standard Range models can provide up to 230 miles of driving range per charge.
With the available Extended Range Battery, the 2024 Ford F-150 Lightning gets increased 580 horsepower and improved efficiency, including an EPA-estimated 78 MPGe city and 63 MPGe highway rating. On Extended Range models, the larger 131.0-kWh battery pack boosts driving range to 320 miles on a full charge. Keep in mind that range may vary depending on conditions like outside temperature, road conditions, highway versus city driving, accessory and climate control use, driving style, vehicle use and maintenance and the high-voltage battery’s age and health.

The 2024 Ford F-150 Lightning offers faster charging times along with numerous smart charging options, including the capability to charge at home via 110- and 220-volt outlets and at public DC fast-charging stations. Available home charging options include the Ford Charge Station Pro, which adds 20 miles per hour of charging for FLASH and LARIAT models or 19 miles per hour of charging for XLT and Platinum. A Mobile Power Cord (30 amp) can add 13 miles per hour of charging for XLT, FLASH and LARIAT and 12 miles for Platinum when using 240V power.
At public DC fast-charging stations, the 2024 Ford F-150 Lightning can charge from 15% to 80% of battery capacity in 44 minutes.
