The 2025 Ford Expedition Active, King Ranch and Platinum trims are powered by the standard 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 engine that makes 400 hp and 480 lb-ft of torque. The High Output 3.5-liter EcoBoost engine delivers up to 440 hp and 510 lb-ft of torque, and it is available for Platinum and comes standard on the all-new Expedition Tremor. With a weight distributing hitch, the standard-wheelbase Expedition is rated for a 9,600-lb max towing capacity when equipped with Intelligent 4WD, while models using the 4x2 system get a 6,100-lb tow rating.
