Ford A-Plan
Primarily for eligible active Ford Motor Company employees and qualifying immediate family members.
Eligible Ford employees may generate up to four A/Z PINs per calendar year.A-Plan. Z-Plan. X-Plan. D-Plan. If you're eligible for one of Ford Motor Company's New Vehicle Purchase Programs, you deserve a dealership that understands exactly how your Plan works. Chuck Anderson Ford makes Ford employee, family, retiree, dealership employee and Partner Recognition pricing simple.
Ford's AXZD New Vehicle Purchase Programs provide predetermined pricing on eligible new Ford vehicles for qualified Ford employees, retirees, eligible family members, participating dealership employees, employees or members of qualifying Ford Partner organizations, and certain friends or neighbors sponsored by eligible Ford employees or retirees.
Instead of negotiating the vehicle selling price in the traditional way, the applicable Plan price is calculated according to Ford's program formula and is shown on the vehicle's factory invoice.
The important part is knowing which Plan you qualify for, what documentation you need, which vehicles qualify, and which available incentives can be used with your Plan. That's where an experienced AXZD dealership makes a difference.

AXZD is an umbrella term covering several Ford New Vehicle Purchase Programs. Your relationship with Ford determines which Plan may apply.

Under Ford's March 2026 A/Z-Plan rules, eligible immediate family relationships include:
Ford's Kansas City Assembly Plant in Claycomo, Missouri is one of the production homes of the Ford F-150. Eligible active Ford employees can qualify for A-Plan pricing under Ford's New Vehicle Purchase Program.

Eligibility depends on the specific Plan. This overview is based on Ford's March 2026 AXZD Program Rules.
This is one of the biggest advantages of the program: the Plan price is determined using Ford's established formula and appears on the factory invoice.
For Ford vehicles under the March 2026 rules, the formulas below explain how Ford establishes the underlying Plan price. Customers don't have to calculate this themselves — the appropriate AXZD amount is printed on the factory invoice.
Under the March 2026 Ford rules, the administration fee used in the formula is $375. Ford also identifies the AZ-Plan Tier 2 advertising surcharge as 0.25% of base vehicle and option MSRP.
Ford's March 2026 rules identify a $375 administration fee and a $300 D-Plan advertising surcharge for applicable current-model-year pricing.
X-Plan uses a predetermined price based on Ford's program formula. The actual X-Plan price appears on the factory invoice for the vehicle.
Ford requires the dealership to provide the Plan customer a true copy of the factory invoice showing the applicable New Vehicle Purchase Program price. The customer must also receive a completed AXZD-Plan Pricing Agreement showing applicable added items and pricing.
In other words, AXZD isn't simply a dealership advertising phrase. There is an actual Ford-established Plan price associated with the eligible vehicle.
Ford's program rules establish maximum Plan document fees, subject to applicable state and local law.
| Ford Plan | Ford Program Maximum Document Fee |
|---|---|
| A-Plan / Z-Plan | Up to $150, subject to applicable state or local law |
| X-Plan | Up to $300, subject to applicable state or local law |
| D-Plan | Ford lists no Plan maximum, subject to applicable state or local law |
Ford's rules state that AXZD Plan customers are eligible for most public retail incentives, including qualifying cash rebates, APR offers and lease programs.
Some special offers may not be compatible with Plan pricing, which is why it's important to have the dealership check the incentives available for the specific vehicle and customer.

AXZD refers collectively to Ford's A-Plan, X-Plan, Z-Plan and D-Plan New Vehicle Purchase Programs. Each program has its own eligibility requirements and pricing structure.
A-Plan is primarily available to eligible active Ford Motor Company employees and qualifying immediate family members. Ford's rules also identify certain temporary, supplemental, part-time, leave and layoff classifications that may qualify.
Eligible active Ford employees at Kansas City Assembly Plant in Claycomo can qualify for A-Plan under Ford's current eligibility rules. Individual eligibility and the specific vehicle should always be verified before completing the transaction.
Many immediate family relationships qualify, including spouses, parents, stepparents, children, certain in-laws, stepchildren, siblings, grandparents, grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, subject to Ford's current relationship rules.
Z-Plan generally provides New Vehicle Purchase Program privileges to qualifying Ford retirees, certain surviving spouses and eligible immediate family members.
X-Plan Partner Recognition may be available to employees of eligible Ford Partner companies, qualifying membership organizations, certain affinity-offer recipients and eligible household members. Ford determines participating organizations.
Eligible Ford employees and retirees may sponsor certain friends, neighbors or extended family members for X-Plan. Ford requires sponsors to personally know the person being sponsored, and dealerships cannot broker or purchase PINs.
D-Plan is designed for eligible employees of qualifying Ford and Lincoln dealerships participating in Ford's D-Plan Privileges Program, along with certain eligible family members.
Ford uses different pricing formulas for A/Z-Plan and X-Plan. The actual applicable price is printed on the factory invoice. The total transaction can also be affected by compatible rebates, incentives, vehicle configuration, taxes and other allowable items.
AXZD is a Ford-established New Vehicle Purchase Program price. Ford's program rules restrict discounts from the applicable Plan price outside of incentives or other amounts specifically permitted by the program.
Ford states that AXZD customers are eligible for most public retail incentives, although certain offers may not be compatible. Chuck Anderson Ford can check the programs available for the specific vehicle and purchase date.
Yes. Trade-ins are permitted with AXZD transactions. The trade-in allowance is negotiated separately and is not established by the New Vehicle Purchase Program.
No. Ford's AXZD rules state that used vehicles are not eligible. Qualifying current-model-year and prior-model-year new vehicles may be eligible.
Ford's rules generally require the vehicle to remain in the eligible customer's possession and properly registered for at least six months from the purchase or lease date, unless a specific Ford program provides an exception.
Most PINs remain active for 12 months after issuance. Certain affinity offers may generate a PIN with a shorter expiration date.
We can explain the process, but Ford's rules prohibit dealerships from locating a sponsor, soliciting a PIN or purchasing a PIN for a customer. Your qualifying sponsor or Partner relationship must be legitimate under Ford's program rules.
From Ford employees at the Kansas City Assembly Plant in Claycomo to retirees, family members, Partner Recognition customers and dealership employees, Chuck Anderson Ford is ready to make your AXZD Plan purchase straightforward.
