The all-new 2025 Expedition is capable of delivering up to 7,000-pound towing capacity without the need for a load-leveling bar and when properly equipped. With a weight distributing hitch, the standard-wheelbase 2025 Expedition SUV is rated for a 9,600-pound max towing capacity when equipped with the Intelligent 4WD system. Models using the 4x2 system deliver up to 6,100 pounds of towing capacity. The extended-length 2025 Expedition MAX is rated to tow up to 6,300 pounds with 4x2, while 4WD Expedition MAX models can handle up to 9,000-pound max towing capacity when properly equipped.

Available for Platinum and standard for the all-new Tremor, the High Output 3.5-liter EcoBoost engine is rated at 440 hp and 510 lb-ft of torque. The 2025 Expedition offers comprehensive towing and hitch technology as well, such as Pro Trailer Hitch Assist™ and Pro Trailer Backup Assist™.

There’s up to 69.9 cubic feet behind the second row with seats full forward and up to 22.9 cubic feet behind the third row with seats fully upright. With the available new Third-Row Flexible Seating, the 2025 Expedition can seat six and give you room to haul long objects.
With the new Ford Split Gate, the 2025 Expedition is the only vehicle in its class that combines a traditional SUV liftgate with the cargo management of a pickup truck tailgate. The multi-function Ford Split Gate can transform the rear area into a serving table or stadium seating with the available Cargo Tailgate Manager, and it supports up to 500 lbs and includes power outlets in the cargo area. Plus, the new available Flex Powered Console slides back nearly eight inches to give you access to secured storage and center aisle room, and it shifts back to give 2nd-row passengers access to a console with audio and climate controls and cupholders.
